Bulbophyllum retusiusculum

Scientific name:Bulbophyllum retusiusculum

An epiphytic orchid distributed in Taiwan, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, China, Indonesia, Malaysia and other places. Plant size is about 5 ~ 8 centimeters. Small species. Grows ovate pseudo-bulbs in 1.5 ~ 3 centimeters intervals. Single leaf. Leaves are slender, dark green, fleshy, leathery. Scape extracts from the bottom of the bulb, with 5 to 8 flowers, grows in scattered form. Lower sepals are bright yellow, petals and lip are purple. Flower diameter is 1 ~ 1.5 centimeters. Flower’s life is 3 to 7 days. Flowering period is in autumn - winter. Cultivation is a little difficult.
